My hope is for my mic and the phone to record on separate tracks if possible, yes. I am using my phone through a separate channel on the board from the mic. So the audio device is listed as "USB Audio Device." So I have a USB line in/headphone splitter to run the mixer to the PC. My mixer does not have USB output, nor does my PC have a line in jack. Just to be clear, your using something like skype with headphones and a mic and want to be able to put the mic on one track, the audio from the person calling on another track, and also record anything played back on the computer separately, to be edited later. Without some kind of interface you will only get up to two channels and those will be set to left and right (as far as I know).

Portable, easy to use and jam-packed with features that ensure optimal control over your performance, Samson's MixPad® MXP124FX represents a new era of possibility for affordable live mixers.I am a bit confused, why and how are you sending the PC audio through the mixer, and how are you interfacing with the USB as the mixer (at least the one I saw) does not look like it has a usb output.

Further catered to live performance, the MXP124FX includes brightly colored knobs, as well as 4-segment LED level metering for safe and efficient operation in dark environments. The MXP124FX has selectable 48-volt phantom power so you're free to mix in the warm, natural response of your favorite condenser microphones. Exceptional output flexibility makes the MXP124FX a worthy companion regardless of venue size, giving you precise fader control of your Main Mix, as well a Mix 2 output, headphone (Phones) monitoring with level control and a RCA Tape out for recording your performance. In addition, the MXP124FX features four Stacked-Stereo channels for increased input versatility and portability. Two of its mic channels feature single-knob compressors for studio-quality dynamic control without the non-stop tweaking of external gear. It also has high-quality faders, not typical of such a small format mixer. The MXP124FX offers four MDR mic preamp channels, each with a 3-band EQ, Gain trim, high pass filter and pre-fader Aux send. The mixer also feature a high-integrity, bidirectional USB connection for recording a mix to your favorite DAW or integrating digital music files from your computer into a project. With 100 24-bit, low-noise digital effects, the MXP124FX offers a studio-inspired effects processor to give your mixes a professional touch. This ensures that all of your mixes originate from pure, authentic audio signals, making the MXP124FX perfect for education, broadcast, band rehearsals and other live sound applications.

The MXP124FX features premium circuitry specifically designed to work with Samson's MDR (Maximum Dynamic Range) mic preamps to provide wide frequency range, definitive channel separation and natural response.
